This year we are planning on changing the show format to a semi-formal display. The tables will be sectioned into individual spaces for two point, three point, and four point display.

This year we are planning on changing the show format to a semi-formal display. The tables will be sectioned into individual spaces for two point, three point, and four point display. We ask those with stands to bring an extra one or two (labeled underneath with name and telephone number) so we can mix and match trees and stands so that the overall display flows well. Also, please bring companions, companion stands and we may or may not use scrolls. The display is always a fun, creative process that for the good of the display has one person in charge - so some compromises may have to be made for the overall final look for the public (this will not affect the judging as the trees will be judged individually).
"The Best in Show" winning bonsai will receive a $500 dollar gift certificate good for merchandise from the BonsaiSmiths and Von's Gardens.

Dallas has begun a tradition of a people's choice award at the club's annual show and it seems to be very well received and is a lot of fun. Everyone is invited to vote for this award, including kids.
